Ideally located in Soho between a sex shop, a pub and a primary school, the dran show ‘Public Execution’ is evolving on a daily basis. Last week opening (covered here) saw crowds facing white empty walls with spray painted frames .
As mentioned on Pictures on Walls website, the exhibition is a ‘live’ masterclass in ‘spontaneous creativity’ happening in ‘real time’ and the show is being created from scratch. Lucky ones can even manage to see dran in action.
Colourful background walls were painted overnight and every time we pop in, we can witness new witty characters being painted: a farmer’s revolution on a football pitch, an arachnophobe Spiderman, a sad clown painted upside down, a maid sweeping a flow of question marks, a flower pot ‘loading’ and growing by the day…
