Video: 11 urban artists for U2 Films of Innocence

Following U2 ‘s initial release  Songs of Innocence, a video project called Films of Innocence involving 11 international urban artists is due out digitally on December 9 through Islands Records and listed on the iTunes store.

The clips combine animation with live action, and the project is presented as “a visual counter-point to the album.” The artists involved are Oliver Jeffers, Robin Rhode, D*Face, Mode 2, Chloe Early, Ganzeer, Vhils, Maser, ROA, DALeast and Todd James. Jefferson Hack is credited as director.

The “Sirens of the Lambs” truck that Banksy initially showed in New York (see here) during last September is now touring at Glastonbury 2014.

After being screened at Palais de Tokyo, we can now see what Lek, Sowat and their artists friends have been up to illegally during 7 months using chalks and water on a blackboard inside the Palais de Tokyo.
