Running until the end of March 2013, the Musee de la Poste in Paris hosts an exhibition titled “Au dela du street art” (beyond street art), showcasing 70 pieces from a selection of international artists including Banksy, C215, Dran, Invader, L’Atlas, Ludo, Miss.Tic, Rero, Shepard Fairey, Swoon and Vhils.
The historical introduction focuses on French pioneers, such as Ernest Pignon-Ernest, Blek Le Rat, Jerome Mesnager, and Jef Aerosol.
Visitors have the opportunity to discover a variety of tools and techniques used by the artists: stencils, tape, glue gun…
In the part 2 we will explore the artists artworks in more detail.
