After completing a series of projects in Shanghai, Paris, Rio and Lisbon, Portuguese artist Vhils returns to London for the most comprehensive solo show Devoid after 3 years at Lazarides Rathbone. Using acid, chisel and other tools, portraits emerge from unexpected material sourced from derelict spaces.

Urban Masters is a group show we have been curating together with Opera Gallery London and ANV.  We asked international artists from the street art and graffiti scene to pay tribute to the masters that inspired them with their own tools and techniques. The response has been phenomenal as we received participation from fantastic artists from all over the world: Australia, US, Latin America and Europe.

Paris: Au dela du street art – Musee de la Poste

Opening on 28th November 2012 “Au dela du street art” at L’adresse Musée de la Poste in Paris offers visitors to become more familiar with the evolution of urban art. Beginning with a historical presentation of this movement with photos, video excerpts and works by pioneers, the exhibition continues with 70 works by 11 international artists: Banksy, C215, Dran, Invader, L’Atlas, Ludo, Miss.Tic, Rero, Shepard Fairey, Swoon and Vhils, and includes installations and videos of artists in action.

Video: Brusk mural in Strasbourg (FR)

French graffiti artist Brusk recently completed a massive mural in Meinau, Strasbourg.
Composite: adjective, made up of disparate or separate parts or elements.
Beyond the concept comes a 120 feet high wall to illustrate Brusk multiple techniques.
