London: Wild Life at Stolenspace

The Winter Group Show at Stolenspace is about the wild life of Wildlife, or the artists interpretation through paintings, sculpture and taxidermy installations of how mother nature is reclaiming our temporary oasis and adapting to the obstacles that we’ve put in its way.

Participating artists: Josie Morway, Rose Sanderson, Jennifer Murphy, Kelly Allen, D*Face, Dan Witz, Jake Wood Evans, Roxanne Jackson, Kelly McCallum, Jessica Joslin, Kai & Sunny, Katja Holtz, Renhui Zhao.

London: Attack of the Space Waffles – Invader

Space Invader is back to London for a solo show at the Outsiders and what a better way to kick start December with an Attack of Space Waffles?
Showcasing a series of brand new mosaic Alias’ and some other goodies like stickers and limited editions.

When I bumped into Invader ealier this year at the MOCA, he was wearing a Scream inspired Tshirt. So it’s fun to see him releasing linocut series on the Scream theme.

The basement features an Invaded Disco Ball, and a 20 minute documentary following Invader throughout his street missions.
A ‘Space Waffle Machine’ is also dispensing hot waffles throughout the exhibition to the delight of the gallery’s Christmas visitors. ‘Tis the season to be invaded…

France: Caia Koopman – Lost Souls and Sacred Hearts

California based artist Caia Koopman is currently exhibited through a series of solo shows across France with the SpaceJunk Galleries.

Using vibrant colours on wood and canvas, Lost Souls and Sacred Hearts present etheral feminine characters combining elegance with vulnerability.

With a fine detail for beauty, Caia Koopman transports us into her mystical and magical world.

Lyon (FR): Venus II Exhibition

The Venus II art exhibition in Lyon aims to raise awareness about breast cancer.
The show is two folds.

The first part gathers a new generation of artists from contemporary art, Low Brow, graffiti or tattoo at Spacejunk gallery: Vinz, Goin, Lime, K’nar, Brusk, Herve All, Sophie Haza, Joachim Albert, Olivier Mosset, Florent Espana, Blandine Dubos, Bullit Ballabeni, Damien Nicolau, Rodolphe Bessey.

Each of them has created a work using the same support, a resin bust of the Venus de Milo.

The other part is showcased in nine locations throughout the Lyon area. 80 artists and seven associative structures worked on plaster busts with the involvement of 140 local women.
On Tuesday 29 November all the artworks will be on view at the City Hall of Villeurbanne. The day will conclude with a charity auction with all proceeds going to Europa Donna, the European Breast Cancer Coalition.
