French artists Alexone and Supakitch recently collaborated on a small house on the infamous Canal St Martin in Paris for Converse Clash Walls.

Video: Tracés Directs (Paris)
After being screened at Palais de Tokyo, we can now see what Lek, Sowat and their artists friends have been up to illegally during 7 months using chalks and water on a blackboard inside the Palais de Tokyo.
With (by order of appearance) Philippe Baudelocque, Wxyz, Alëxone, Smo, L’Outsider, Sowat, Babs, Skki, Jay one, Tcheko, Apôtre, Kan, Seb174, Sambre, Nassyo, Popay, Spé, Fléo, Lek, Dem189, Swiz and Jacques Villeglé.
Paris: Lasco project at Palais de Tokyo
Opening in Paris on 21 Nov is the second instaltment of the ongoing project “Les Entrailles” at Palais de Tokyo, this time called “Lasco”.
Lek and Sowat and curator Hugo Vitrani have brought together 50 artists from different generations and field of practice to invade the secondary spaces of Palais de Tokyo not initially intended to accommodate exhibitions and closed to the public. Within this raw space and minimalist lighting, every artist has contributed with their skills and gesture to produce a collective work overlapping styles and techniques using spray paint, paintbrush, pencil, chalk, and other salvaged materials found on site.

Paris: French Fairs FIAC and Slick
France contemporary art fair, the Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain (FIAC) celebrated its 40th edition this year at the Grand Palais in Paris. Featuring 184 exhibitors from 25 countries, the fair continues to hold a strong French presence with 30 % of the exhibitors. Some of the highlights include the Iron Tree from Ai Weiwei, Dan Colen at the Gagosian, Yue Minjun at Daniel Templon, a giant Kaws at Galerie Perrotin, and a wrecked Ferrari by Bertrand Lavier.
In parallel to the FIAC, on the Banks of the Seine, SLICK Art Fair to bring together the vitality of 50 younger galleries and talents. Some pics below.

Paris: Live painting session
During the busy art week in Paris, a series of leading international artists have been invited to paint in front of the Drouot building for the Digard Street Art Auction: Nick Walker (UK), Logan Hicks (US), Mear One (US), Miss Tic (FR), Seth (FR), Katre (FR), Cope 2 (US) and Indie 184 (US) . Legendary photographer Martha Cooper was also onsite to document the events.
The artworks will be auctioned in May 2014
