For the 3rd year anniversary of GRAFFITI ART magazine, I was pleased to contribute to the #12 Issue and shared my experience of Los Angeles, from the multiple openings to the Art in the Streets exhibition at the MOCA.

If you are not already familiar with this bilingual French/English magazine, Graffiti Art is a cross-functional mag focussing on rising talents as well as confirmed ones across the international scene. Featuring: street art, painting, illustration, photo, design, graffiti… And artists that find their inspiration in both the city and urban space.

Here are some pics from the current issue, featuring also an interview with brazilian twins Os Gemeos and more.

Graffiti Art is available throughout Europe and the United States in specialized shops as well as stations and airports.

London: Nuevo Mundo book launch at POW

I attended the London book launch party for Nuevo Mundo at Pictures on Walls. The book provides a comprehensive documentation of current street art in Latin America from Argentina, Brazil, Central America, Chile, Columbia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The author, Maximilliano Ruiz, as well as many of the artists featured in the book (Thiago Alvim, Yusk, Don Lucho, Inti, Kelp, Saile, Stinkfish, Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada, Buytronik, Cix, Mones, Basik, Jade Physe Wesr) were present at the event to sign and personalise books.

Opening: Charming Baker

Returning to London, Charming Baker new solo show is taking place at the Mercer Street Studios, an old banana warehouse in Covent Garden from 7th-31^st July 2011.

The exhibition titled “Every Thing Must Go” is showcasing new paintings as well as a collection of bronze busts.

Jealous Gallery will also be doing live printing sessions at the weekend.
